From Route 1:

  • Take the Essex Street Exit towards Melrose (just south of the Square One Mall)
  • West towards Melrose and this turns into Upham St.
  • Continue on Upham Street to the 3rd set of lights to Main Street, 2.1miles
  • Turn left on Main Street go to the 3rd set of lights, 0.3miles
  • Turn right on W. Wyoming Street (right after Dunkin Donuts)
  • Go over the railroad tracks
  • Take 1st left onto Pleasant Street
  • Pleasant Street becomes Washington Street
  • Today’s Collision is on the left, 1.0 mile

From Route 1 (alternate way):

  • Take Fellsway West exit (at Kelly’s Roast Beef)
  • Follow the Fellsway through Melrose to the 6th set of lights, 3.9miles
  • Turn left at lights onto W. Wyoming Street (at Grimsbsy’s Restaurant)
  • W. Wyoming Street for 0.7 miles
  • Turn right on Pleasant Street (before train tracks)
  • Pleasant Street becomes Washington Street
  • Today’s Collision is on the left, 1.0mile

From Malden Square / Route 60:

  • Main Street toward Melrose (past Kappy’s Liquor), 0.7miles
  • At the 5th set of Lights turn left on Winter Street (Citizens Bank on corner)
  • At the 1st set of lights right turn on Washington Street (Oak Grove T Station)
  • Today’s Collision is 0.1 miles on right (3rd building down after the T station)

From Melrose:

  • Main Street into Malden
  • At 2nd set of lights turn right on Winter Street (Citizens Bank on corner)
  • At the 1st set of lights right turn on Washington Street (Oak Grove T Station
  • Today’s Collision is 0.1 miles on right (3rd building down after the T station)

From N.H. / Route 93 South:

  • Exit 35 – Stoneham/Winchester
  • Turn left under the highway, take right at the Stop Sign.
  • Follow the road straight through the lights onto South Street.
  • On South Street, go 1.0mile (Pass the Stone Zoo, There will be water on the right side)
  • Stay in left lane and take left at “Melrose Wakefield Hospital / Melrose” SIGN
  • Go straight through the set of lights onto West Wyoming Street
  • Stay straight on W. Wyoming Street for 0.7 miles
  • Turn right on Pleasant Street (Richdale’s convenience store is on the corner, before train tracks)
  • Travel for approx 0.6 mile, Pleasant Street becomes Washington Street
  • You will then pass Marty’s Furniture on the left
  • Today’s Collision is located on the left, just before the Oak Grove Train Station

From Boston / Route 93 North:

    • Exit 34 – Stoneham/ Route 28
    • Turn right at the lights on South Street, go 0.9 miles (Pass the Stone Zoo, There will be water on the Right side)
    • Stay in left lane and take left at “Melrose Wakefield Hospital / Melrose” SIGN
    • Go straight through the set of lights onto W. Wyoming Street
    • Stay straight on W. Wyoming Street for 0.7 miles
    • Turn right on Pleasant Street (Richdale’s convenience store is on the corner, before train tracks)
    • Travel for approx 0.6 mile, Pleasant Street becomes Washington Street
    • You will then pass Marty’s Furniture on the Left
    • Today’s Collision is located on the left, just before the Oak Grove Train Station.
