New Greg Hill Foundation Beneficiary – Jack Lally Lancaster, MA
The Greg Hill Foundation has announced its latest Beneficiary. Jack Lally from Lancaster, MA was riding his bike home when he was struck by a car. The driver of the car fled the scene of the accident leaving Jack seriously injured. Luckily for Jack, witnesses of the accident stopped to help and Jack was immediately rushed to UMASS Worcester. He was put into an induced coma for 24 hours while they evaluated his injuries. Jack has already had reconstructive hip surgery and is currently at Spaulding Rehabilitation Center recovering from serious head trauma that has left him with short term memory loss and has affected his cognitive skills.
Although Jack’s health status is improving he will have to go through months and months of physical therapy and throughout the process he will be in a wheelchair. Patrick Lally said that they will have to make their house handicap accessible in order to have Jack stay on the first level of the house. The costs of the medical treatment and construction needed have put the Lally family in a tough financial spot. Tomorrow, October 16, 2012 The Greg Hill Foundation will be raising money for the Lally family to help ease the burden of the high costs of treatment and construction. Please listen in to the Hill – Man Morning Show on WAAFfrom 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and make a donation to the Lally Family. The Foundation will be matching the donations they receive so any donation would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in helping a family in need.
