We had a great time during our 2013 Family Day at Canobie Lake Park on Saturday, August 10th . The weather was a perfect 10 with blue skies; hot enough to get drenched by the Boston Tea Party Ride; but not too hot to wait for our turns on the new Equinox Ride!  After our BBQ Lunch, Roger Anderson and Luis Morales  were the lucky ones to walk away with a new Ipod Touch in our raffle.

Congratulations to our 5-year Award Winners: Kenny Fowler, Joe Lester & Tim Cranfill; to our 10-year Award Winners: Jimmy Iannuzzi & Adam Landry; And our first-time ever 15-year Award Winner: Rene BarahonaWith these awards, over 40 percent of Today’s Collision’s  employees have been with us for 5 years or more!  Thank you all for your dedication to Today’s over the years.  Check out our photos!

Hosted by our Malden Location, Today’s Employees attended an I-CAR Blueprinting Course on June 15, 2013. This class will give them accreditation towards gold-class certification. Congratulations Team!

Mini of Peabody held its annual Poker Rally on Sunday, May 19, 2013.  54 Cars ran a route with Checkpoints at Singing Beach, Manchester; Wingaersheek Beach, Gloucester;  Clammer’s Beach, Essex; Atwater Ave, Manchester and at Mini of Peabody, Route… 114.

It’s always fun to check out how each Mini Owner customizes their vehicle.  One of our favorites was the eyelash headlights!

At each checkpoint along the route, drivers collected a card to make their poker hand. The winning hand was a Full House! Congratulations to the winners of our Trader Joe’s Snack Attack! Thanks for having us!

Our customer, Don, put his recently-repaired Porsche to the test during the Porsche Club of America Ramble Event.

Here’s how it did:

Bobby, I hope this note finds you, your family and the TC team well and looking forward to much warmer weather.   This weekend, Roseanne and I participated in the Ramble conducted by the Northeast Region of the Porsche Club of America.  The Ramble is a fun, noncompetitive event combining fun driving and social events.  The Ramble leader sets out a route consisting of twists and turns, elevation changes, etc.  The route was about three hours long on Saturday morning and another 90 minutes or so after lunch.  This year the Ramble began and ended at the Mount Washington Inn in Bretton Woods, NH.  None of the route uses any highway.  Significant portions of the route are on rough woodsy roads often with frost heaves (think about the roads in Crawford Notch, around Attitash, etc.).  While it is noncompetitive, we do engage in “spirited” driving.  I am sharing this information so that you will know that I gave the Porsche probably the best test possible of your repair/rebuilding work.  It passed with flying colors.  The car does not have a single rattle or other issue and, trust me when I say that if there were a weakness it would have been revealed.  Please share this with your talented team and thank them again for putting my car back together in such fine fashion.– Don.

Thanks for sharing this with us Don!

Check out these Video Clips of Dan Cummings, founder of non-profit Journey Forward, and other local residents with spinal cord injuries who have benefited from the great rehabilitation work of Journey Forward, headquartered in Canton, MA.  We are proud of Danny and the all that he has accomplished since his own spinal cord injury in 2000.  These videos aired on WCVB’s Chronicle on Friday, March 29, 2013.
